About Leila from March 2013
1. I love a good cupcake. And I make them all the time.
2. I can always find a reason for a party.
3. When my husband realized we were dating, he asked me to marry him one week later.
4. I did.
5. And now we’re having a baby.
6. I’m the oldest of 8 kids.
7. I talk to my youngest sister Cassie on the phone every day.
8. I went to BYU at 16 years old.
9. And took a couple classes with my mom.
10. I was admitted to law school at 19.
11. I spent a month studying in Madrid, Spain.
12. I speak Spanish.
13. I love to salsa dance.
14. The color teal is MY color.
15. I love to relax with episodes of Law & Order and Chinese takeout.
16. I believe that you can find happiness in every single day.
17. I spent a weekend in Rome and it wasn't nearly long enough.
18. I’m dying to go back to Italy.
19. When I was little, I always wanted to be in charge. Nothing has changed.
20. I love researching family history.
21. I am ALMOST 5 feet tall. Missed it by a quarter of an inch.
22. I didn't feel comfortable wearing flats around a man until I met my husband. And he’s 6’3”.
23. When I go to Texas Roadhouse, I order dinner just to be polite. Then I spend all evening eating the rolls. I eat my steak the next morning.
24. I take pictures of everything. Including food.
25. When I was 10, I wanted to be a pig farmer. My dad took me to a pig farm, and the fascination lasted for a few more years.
26. I make great mocktails.
27. I believe that food tastes better when its beautiful.
28. I love loud music.
29. I am an early bird.
30. I read super fast. I think it’s because my mom taught me to read early.
31. My first memories are of spending time with my Dad on the beach on the back of his bike. I still love everything about the beach.
32. I’ve always wanted to be a mom. Probably because mine is so great.
33. I have a strategically-angled mirror in my house – one that always makes you look good. It’s the last thing I check before I leave the house.
