MATE • Valentine's Day Word Search for Your Perfect Match

1/31/2015

Gift I gave the Boyfriend about 15 years ago
About 15 years ago, before chalkboards were hip, I made an Anniversary Chalkboard Word Search for my Perfect Match. It took a couple of versions before I got it right and was a lot of work. This Valentine's Day I decided to offer an easy version to download. Print, cut, frame, and give. Way less work than I originally went through. You can find it here. Our shop is here.
8"x 8" and 5"x 5" Download Found in our Etsy Shop
If framed with glass then it can be used with a dry erase marker and reused.
For your Perfect Match get our download or make one of your own.
Happy Love Month.

ME • After Mother's Day Private Celebration

5/13/2014

Here's a cupcake Leila custom made last year for our Newsletter Subscribers. I didn't post it beforehand mostly because I've been busy (like you) and forgot (probably unlike you). But.... that doesn't mean you still can't have your own little private after Mother's day celebration with it. If you knew her you know she made THE BEST CUPCAKES EVER. She was the Queen of Cupcakes. So even if you don't use it for a Mother's Day you ought to make it some time. Even if only for yourself.

MATE • Valentine's Day Download - Love & Kisses

Love & kisses and Valentine's day all go together so well!
Here's my gift to the Boyfriend. This was so easy to do - red lipstick, pucker up, put it to paper, sign. Bam! Done. Well, except the framing part. But still pretty easy. So I thought I'd share.

Then I thought to myself, self, how easy it would be to make it into a downloadable. If you aren't inclined to do your own, then just - print, sign, frame. Wham Bam!

So what do you think? If you like it, share the Valentine love.

PROJECT • DIY Thanksgiving Sign

11/21/2013

I know Thanksgiving is a week away and it may seem pointless to post a DIY Thanksgiving project but this is so super easy that you can get it done in about an hour after printing. That includes drying time. So, no fear, you can do the sign this weekend.

I wanted to make our Thanksgiving celebration more important, make it a little more meaningful. I went to read the Declaration and realized I hadn't ever read it or at least didn't remember it. I thought this would be a good place to start. I made this 11" x 36" framed sign. The content is condensed from the actual Thanksgiving Proclamation. It's my summary. Meaning that it's my point of view of what's important so you might want to read through it before you print it.

Supplies for Thanksgiving Print

1
Click on the image for the free download • 2 copies are printed on one blueprint
2
11" x 36" frame • usually for 40% - 50% off
3
Coffee dye • mix water and coffee to a thin syrup
As a Bonus: You can give the second print as a gift,
maybe to the host of your Thanksgiving dinner.

DIY Directions for Coffee Dying Thanksgiving Print

Gather supplies - 1) Blueprint paper 2) Sponge brush 3) Coffee dye
Determine dye darkness (less water is better for paper) Wipe off excess with a paper towel
While still damp wad paper into a ball. Then lay flat. Let dry.
After it's dry iron flat
Fit into frame folding edges down. Make sure edges are equal distances center so that text is level

Or...... you can skip the coffee dying process and put the white print in a silver or colorful frame. This project just got easier.
